Niamey may be the capital and by far the biggest city in Niger, but it is not the only big city. By order of population the other big cities of the country are:

This city is located in Agadez region and it is the capital of the Arlit Department. It is one of the few industrial cities owing to the uranium mines in the area.

The capital of the similarly named Region and Department. Since it used to be the capital of the Dosso kingdom the greatest sight is the palace of the Djermakoy and the museum.
It is the last of the big cities located in Maradi Region. It is rich in historical significance and a very important transport center right between Maradi and Zinder.
